| What is data entry? Data entry is the entering
of handwritten/typed information into a specific data set on the computer.
The data file can be returned as a flat ascii file, a comma separated
text file, an excel spreadsheet, dbase or access. We can email, provide
a CD-ROM or a floppy diskette.
What is verification? One operator keys (inputs) the data.
A second operator rekeys the information against a blank screen.
If the two characters are not a match, the operator must correct
the field before she/he can proceed on. The eliminates 99.9% of
the errors.
What kind of information can be input? Any repetitious format.
Surveys, name and addresses, insurance forms, registrations forms
are just a few examples of the types of data that can be entered.
If I have a survey, can I get a report? Reports can be generated
geared to your specifications after all of the data is entered.
Additionally, the compilation of the raw data can be returned in
the desired format.
Can my output fields be in a different order than the survey/questionnaire
is written? We tailor each program to your specifications. So,
it is very easy adapting the output to your needs regardless of
the order of the questions appearing on the survey.
What kind of data entry system due you use? We use Acudata,
a system designed specifically for heads down key data entry and
verification. The data can be returned in the type of file which
fits your needs. This could be a flat ascii file, a comma separated
text file or a specific program file such as excel or access.
